A great opportunity at 'No Reserve' to acquire one of Volvo's elegant sixties Coupés in need of substantial restoration. A rather down-at-heel, 1800E in need of a 'knight in shining armour' First registered in May 1970, this is a UK-supplied, right-hand drive, fuel-injected car. One of the first UK cars with the 130bhp. higher compression (10.5:1) B20E engine with Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection, a matched engine control unit and a revised camshaft. Just two keepers from new. Offered at 'no reserve', this could be a great Winter project. Our late and much respected vendor acquired this Volvo 1800E Coupe about five years ago as a complete restoration project.
For various reasons, it never got started so here is an opportunity for the next budding Simon Templar to take the project over! First registered in May 1970, this is a UK-supplied, right-hand drive, fuel-injected car that would have been one of the first UK cars with the 130bhp. higher compression (10.5:1) B20E engine with Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection, a matched engine control unit and a revised camshaft. It appears to have had just two. keepers from new and in the small history file is a complete factory service manual with detailed instructions with regard to all the required dealer maintenance and trouble shooting.
Sold strictly as seen, it is offered at 'no reserve' and could be the source of a great Winter project - to be finished by next Spring!
