Very well cared for GT-4 ST205 from long term ownership, thoughtfully upgraded and beautifully presented. Distinct from the 2,500 WRC models produced for the homologation of the cars in to the World Rally Championship, these standard cars feature the same engine without the disabled water spray, anti lag and water-injection. Powered by a robust 2-litre turbocharged 3S-GTE engine generating 255bhp (JDM) with a 5-speed manual gearbox and backed by a sophisticated full time AWD system, the GT-4 offers 0-60mph in 5.9 seconds and 153mph.
This ST205 generation (1994–1999) features the most refined version of the GT-4 formula, with upgraded internals, a water-to-air intercooler and advanced Super Strut suspension for enhanced handling.
This example was imported in 2010 with c.64,000 miles covered by the first Japanese owner and since has covered a further c.21,000 miles with our vendor, the car's second owner (the odometer is in kilometres and currently indicates 135,000km) Factory-fitted options include a dehumidifier, slide and tilt sunroof, and twin airbags, whilst upgrades by our vendor include a power upgrade to 291bhp, turbo timer, projector headlights with high intensity bulbs, bonnet grille badge, K&N air filter, front lip, Double-DIN stereo, DVD player, digital radio, bonnet gas struts, clear indicator lens, and blue LED interior lighting.
Recent maintenance includes a new clutch, alternator, radiator, Super-Strut suspension, discs and pads. The car has been completely Waxoyled underneath and Terracleaned for emissions.
