This 1981 Trans Am is described by its owner as a true survivor equipped with a 4.9-liter V-8 engine and automatic transmission. The car features the very desirable T-top roofs and snowflake wheels, the original factory build sheet, owner’s manuals, floor mats,T top bags, all of which are reportedly in excellent condition and also comes with mileage and service documents.
The Trans Am is a reported as a "real time capsule, reflecting how it would have appeared on the showroom floor back in 1981." The car appears outstanding in appearance inside and out with Black Exterior and Camel Tan interior and Gold Snowflake Wheels, the Trans Am reportedly remains the same as it was originally,with only a few touch ups performed many years back. The Trans Am has had several owners who garage kept this car with one of owners retaining the Trans Am for 27 years of its 37 years of life.
The Trans Am remains basically the same as it was born, except for the tires and exhaust that where replaced in 2014 and a few other minor items replaced, with attention to a few minor details, this Trans Am is said to be worthy of Trans Am Nationals Judging, the original exhaust tips are included in the sale. The Trans Am runs and drives as well as it looks, a real time capsule from the 80’s.
