Smartly presented, well built, super competitive Morgan racer. Built in 1998/9 by Morgan motorsport specialist Chas Windridge & Pete Mulberry of Mogsport. Running a John Eales Developments 4.6-litre V8 engine pushing our 369 bhp. Numerous class wins & overall race wins in the Morgan Challenge and other race meetings. Eligible for the AR Morgan Challenge, CS and CC Future Classics, Modsports and in Europe-Youngtimers and ASAVE. Built by highly respected Morgan race preparers, Chas Windridge and Peter Mulberry of MogSport in 1998/9, this car was piloted to many class wins and outright victories in both the Morgan Challenge and other championships by Rick Lloyd.
In Rick"s capable hands, this car traded times at every race meeting with well-known fellow Plus 8 racer Keith Ahlers and the two protagonists produced some of the most titanic battles the championship had ever seen. The specification of this car is incredibly high and includes: A full race John Eales 4.6 litre V8 engine with under 5 hours running time. Full-width Mulfab alloy radiator. 4x Twin Choke downdraught Jenveys running forced air induction and direct fuel injection linked to a Motec M4 onboard computer. 5-speed Getrag gearbox with dog-leg first gear. BTR Limited Slip Differential Rear Axle. Front and rear adjustable coil-overs and Gaz shock absorbers.
AP Racing 4-pot callipers on the front, Wilwood 4-pot at the rear. Front (full floating) and rear drilled and vented brake discs. 1 spare set of centre lock split rim alloys wheels with Hoosier wet tyres. Full Custom cages roll cage with side and scuttle bars. 80-litre alloy bagged fuel tank. Plumbed in fire extinguisher. In its current specification, the car is eligible for the AR Morgan Challenge, CS and CC Future Classics, and in Europe - Youngtimers, ASAVE and many other UK & European Modsports series. Campaigned by our vendor (Paul Conway) over the last few years in Europe and achieving a number of race wins and podium positions, the car is now offered for sale.
