The MG TC was the first new model to be launched by MG following the end of World War II in 1945, and was produced between 1945 and 1950. It was essentially an upgraded version of the TB, and shared the same 1,250cc engine but with a higher compression ratio of 7:4:1, allowing for greater horsepower. The TC was also four inches wider than its predecessor, but also slightly faster with its improved engine and 4-speed gearbox. Upon its introduction it was also available in three colours: Black, Regency Red or Shires Green.

This Regency Red example is a 1946 car that is presented in very good condition. The bodywork, paintwork and interior all in very good order, and there is a large history file that includes various old MOTs and bills/invoices. The car was fully recommissioned between 1999-2003 for approximately £3,000 by Spencer Lane-Jones. It is said to be running and driving very well. Overall this is a good example of a useable, classic British sports car.
