The MG TC was the first new model to be launched by MG following the end of World War II in 1945. It was essentially an upgraded version of the TB, and shared the same 1,250cc engine but with a higher compression ratio of 7:4:1, allowing for greater horsepower. The TC was also four inches wider than its predecessor, but also slightly faster with its improved engine and 4-speed gearbox. This 1947 TC is a restored example that is presented in a beautiful cream colour scheme with a green leather interior. There is a large history file with the car which includes multiple old MOTs, bills and details of a restoration undertaken by NTG Services during the 1980s (with photos and bills dated 1988).

The engine was also rebuilt in 2005 for £2,700 by Agra Precision Engineering, and as a result the car is said to be running and driving very well. An excellent and usable example.
