Billed as the ultimate in Grand Touring, this Ferrari F12 Berlinetta is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.3-liter V12 engine producing 731hp at 8,250 rpm. Peak torque comes in at 6,000 rpm and sends 509 ft/lbs through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The engine (code-named F140 FC) catapults the two-seat Ferrari from standstill to 60 mph in 3.0 seconds flat. Acceleration continues to 100 mph in as little as 6.5 seconds, and the V12's power will carry the Grand Tourer to a top speed of the 211 mph. So special is the engine powering the Ferrari F12 that it won the 2013 International Engine of the Year Award in the Best Performance category and Best Engine above 4.0 liters.
This example is finished in Grigio Silverstone over Crema leather seats with black Alcantara inserts. The aluminum bodywork borrows aerodynamic technology from Ferrari's racing programs and is draped over a space frame co-developed by Scaglietti and made from 12 different aluminum alloys. Carbon-ceramic brakes and magnetorheological dampers are standard on all F12s, and this car features 20-inch dark painted wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.
