Ferrari lifted the covers from the 458 Italia at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. It would later be joined by Spider and Speciale variants, though its “Italia” designation was reserved for the launch-specification coupé. The 458 Italia was the heir to Ferrari’s rear-mid mounted V-8 platform, directly succeeding the popular 430 Scuderia, and quickly gaining plaudits for its thrilling driving characteristics attributed to its award-winning Tipo F136 powertrain.

The example offered here was delivered to Sa.Mo.Car SpA, the official Ferrari concessionaire in Rome, and was later reacquired by the Ferrari factory. The 458 Italia was subsequently bought from Maranello by a Ferrari dealership in Poland and has not been privately owned since. As a result it is still registered in the name of Ferrari SpA.

The car is finished in Rosso Corsa over an attractive Cuoio leather interior, and wears desirable specification options including 20-inch diamond-cut forged alloy wheels, colour-coded interior stitching, Daytona-style seats, leather headlining, and a multimedia system featuring parking camera with sensors and satellite navigation. The odometer reads only 1,011 kilometres at the time of cataloguing.

Customers who missed out on acquiring a 458 Italia during its 15,000-car production run need look no further than this barely used Ferrari, surely the next best alternative.

C'est au Salon de Francfort 2009 que Ferrari a présenté sa 458 Italia. Cette appellation était réservée au coupé tel que présenté, mais des variantes Spider et Speciale sont venues ensuite compléter la gamme. La 458 Italia succédait directement sur la plateforme à V8 central à la 430 Scuderia si appréciée ; elle a rapidement été acclamée pour ses étourdissantes qualités routières dues à son moteur Tipo F136 détenteur de nombreuses distinctions.

L'exemplaire proposé a été livré à Sa.Mo.Car SpA, le concessionnaire officiel de Ferrari à Rome, puis racheté par l'usine Ferrari. Cette 458 Italia a ensuite été acquise auprès de Maranello par un concessionnaire de Pologne, mais non revendue sur place. Elle est donc toujours immatriculée au nom de Ferrari SpA.
