This 2023 Ferrari 296 GTB is a plug-in hybrid that debuted in June 2021, and the make's first 6-cylinder road car since the Dino-branded models of 1969-74. Offered in the GTB (Berlinetta/Coupe) body style, the 296 was designed at the Ferrari Styling Centre under Flavio Manzoni. Featuring Ferrari’s mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout, the 296 is powered by a 654hp twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter engine paired with a 6-cylinder internal-combustion engine. An electric drive system housed between the engine and transmission raises total output to 830 factory-rated horsepower.
An electric-only driving range of 25 kilometers (16 miles) is achieved via a high-voltage accumulator underneath the floor with a 7.45 kilowatt-hour rating.
