This one-owner 2018 Chevrolet Yenko/SC Camaro is Build No. 22 of 25 produced by Specialty Vehicle Engineering, a long-time partner with General Motors in the production of specially modified GM performance vehicles. The heart of this car is its supercharged all-aluminum V8 engine, a custom-built 416ci LT1 engine. This features a fully blueprinted and balanced rotating assembly using a 4340 forged-steel crank, H-beam connecting rods, forged-aluminum pistons, CNC-ported high-flow cylinder heads, SVE’s proprietary High-Output Supercharger and an upgraded fuel system and injectors.
Rated at 1000hp and 875 ft/lbs of torque, this hand-built engine drives a 6-speed manual transmission with Active Rev Matching backed by a limited-slip differential. Following Yenko’s practice of high-impact visuals, this car announces its special nature with special Yenko body-side stripes, prominent “Yenko” and “1000 HP” exterior badging, a carbon-fiber hood and “SYC” and “Yenko” interior insignia. Each car also gets a “Yenko 1000 HP Supercharged” badge with the vehicle build number.
Finished in Hyper Blue Metallic exterior, Build No. 22 features a Jet Black leather interior with power front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, MyLink audio system, HID headlamps and a rear-vision camera. In 1969, Pennsylvania Chevrolet dealer Don Yenko collaborated with Chevrolet Product Promotions Manager Vince Piggins to produce a limited run of special Camaros under the Central Office Production Order (COPO) program, creating the 1969 iron-block Yenko 427 Super Camaro, one of the wildest Camaros of the original muscle-car era. Flash forward to 2018, and the original Yenko Super Camaro is reborn in the SVE Limited Edition Yenko/SC Camaro.
This Camaro is accompanied with the Window Sticker, dyno sheet, SVE option sheet and brochure, two Yenko 1000hp numbered key fobs and faux leather-bound portfolio.
