Distinctively presented in Bahama Beige, this remarkable M635 was collected by our vendor and his father from the factory in 1985, driven back to the UK and has remained in the family ever since. Remarkable. Four seats, gorgeous looks and 286bhp, the M635 CSi embodied the symbiosis of luxury and high performance in the mid 1980s. Powered by the 3.5-litre, 286bhp, 24-valve, six-cylinder M88 (as featured in the mid-engined M1) mated to a Getrag 5-speed gearbox and a ZF limited-slip differential.
Finished in Bahama Beige over Buffalo leather, this right-hand drive example was ordered through a Cypriot BMW dealer and collected from the factory in 1985 by our vendor and his father who drove it back to the UK where it was duly registered. This superb example boasts just one former keeper (father and son) and an incredible 24,550 miles from new. The current MOT is valid until 14/03/2026. This is rather special. Beautifully presented in a rare colour, very low mileage, the cachet of having been driven back from the factory by father and son and the fact that they have cherished it as part of the family for 40 years - remarkable.
