  • The Valhalla is Aston Martin’s first mid-engine PHEV supercar

Debuting as the “Son of Valkyrie” AM-RB 003 concept in 2019, the Valhalla is Aston Martin’s first mid-engine PHEV supercar for the road, entering production in 2025. The car was co-designed by F1 legend Adrian Newey alongside Miles Numberger. The car generated immediate buzz, appearing in the “Forza” video game series and featured at Q Branch in “No Time to Die” (2021), the fifth and final James Bond film starring Daniel Craig. Limited to a production run of just 999 examples, this 2026 Valhalla carries an original MSRP of $1,277,200, with more than $217,000 in options as noted on the accompanying window sticker.

Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 4.0L Mercedes-AMG M178 LS2 V-8 engine paired with three permanent-magnet synchronous electric motors, producing a combined 1,064 HP. Technical highlights include 63mm twin-scroll turbochargers, a 6.1 kWh 400V high-voltage battery, and a PHEV system with a 3.5 kW on-board charger. The front electric drive unit features two motors for full-axle torque vectoring; the single rear motor handles torque fill and load shifting. An 8-speed dual-clutch transmission routes power through an all-wheel drivetrain with a rear electronic limited-slip differential.

Additional specifications include full EV mode, electric reverse, front-axle lift and competition-type inboard pushrod front suspension. The all-carbon-fiber bodywork generates over 1,300 lb of downforce from 149 MPH to a top speed of 217 MPH, with dynamic active aerodynamics and dihedral doors with roof cutouts. Ultra Yellow paint pairs with the optional Theme 5 livery ($28,800), Satin 2×2 twill carbon fiber exterior packages ($21,000 and $43,200), and an Oxford Tan semi-aniline leather interior with carbon fiber seats and trim ($23,100 combined). Additional amenities include a motorsport-inspired seating position, Electron Yellow stitching and a Bowers & Wilkins audio system.

Stopping power is provided by carbon ceramic disc brakes with yellow calipers, behind 20-inch front and 21-inch rear magnesium textured titanium wheels ($28,800), fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 AML tires.
