Chassis No.: 2FF60FCA7A0175172 Auction: Kissimmee 2017 Auction date: January 15, 2017 Lot No.: S187 $175,000 | High bid • Exterior: Red • HGTE package • Rosso Corsa Red 599 GTB • 6.0L V-12 engine • 0-60 in 3.7 seconds • Black Ferrari wheels • Carbon ceramic brakes • F1 traction control system • Black leather and Suede interior • Red accent belts and carbon fiber dash • Vehicle tool kit included This stunning Rosso Corsa Red 2010 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is fitted with the optional HGTE Handling Package. The Ferrari 599 with its 6.0L V-12 engine—sourced from the Enzo—produces an impressive 612 HP, enabling the car to reach a top speed of 206 MPH, accelerate from 0-60 MPH in a mere 3.3 seconds and eclipse the quarter-mile in 11.2 seconds at 131 MPH. This Ferrari 599 is equipped with the HGTE Handling Package which added an additional $30,095 to the car’s already hefty base price of $326,730. The HGTE Package adds a sizeable amount of machismo to an already testosterone-filled Ferrari. The package is a cohesive collection of upgraded parts focused on ultimate handling capability which consists of stiffer springs, thicker anti-roll bars, retuned shock absorbers, wider wheels, lowered ride height, retuned exhaust note and stickier Pirelli P2 tires. The HGTE package still employs the magnetorheological shock absorbers which adjust damping on command, but has recalibrated them for more aggressive cornering. Another feature of the HGTE package is the interior which has been bathed in black leather, Alcantara and carbon fiber trim. This 599 GTB has a menacing look with its bright red paint, lowered ride height and black wheels, revealing the carbon ceramic rotors and Brembo brake calipers in the background. This 599 GTB is equipped with the Ferrari F1 Superfast Automated 6-speed transmission which enables paddle-operated lightning-quick shifts. It is significant to note that the Enzo was the benchmark of performance when Ferrari was in the design process of the 599 GTB. It was the hot lap test around the Ferrari track at Fiorano that validated the 599 GTB with recorded lap times less than 1 second shy of the Enzo. https://www.mecum.com/lots/269882/2010-ferrari-599-gtb-fiorano/
Chassis No.: ZFFFC60A670151594 Auction: Monterey 2022 Auction date: August 20, 2022 Lot No.: F101 $192,500 | Sold • Exterior: Black • Interior: Black • 6.0L V-12 engine • F1 gearbox • Odometer reads 10,250 miles • Garaged since 2007 • Leather upholstery seat backrest • Carbon ceramic brake system • Battery charger • Serviced annually since car was new • New tires and new original-style wheels from Maranello • Carbon fiber for driving zone • Carbon fiber for lower carbon zone • Daytona style seats Having closed out the 20th century with the wonderful 550 and 575 Maranello, Ferrari showed it had already turned its gaze to the future of its front-engine V-12 formula when it debuted the brilliant 599 GTB Fiorano at the February 2006 Geneva Motor Show. One of Pininfarina’s most beautifully styled and aerodynamically efficient designs, the 599 defied first impressions that it was “conventional” when closer inspection revealed uncommon attention to airflow and downforce, all while maintaining that unmistakable Ferrari identity in its arching fenders, egg-crate front grille and Kamm-style rear end. Its snugly-formed greenhouse introduced separate rear buttresses designed to guide air back around the rear glass and over the rear spoiler in ingenious fashion, adding another signature feature to Maranello’s long tradition of innovation. The 599’s engine, a retuned derivative of the one powering the Enzo hyper-Ferrari, was mounted as close to midship as the set-back cockpit could accommodate, achieving a 47/53 front/rear weight balance for optimal handling and driving the new F1-Superfast 6-speed transmission. Armed with 611 HP at 7,600 RPM, the 599 GTB arrives at 60 MPH in 3.7 seconds and zooms to a top speed of 205 MPH, its 400 pounds of downforce ensuring rock-like stability. Garage-kept since 2007, this Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano shows just 10,250 miles and has received regular annual servicing to maintain peak performance. Its lustrous black paint is matched inside with tautly fitted, black, leather Daytona-style seats that share the interior space with shapely carbon fiber and brushed aluminum trim in both the driver and passenger zones. Fitted with Pirelli P-Zero tires on alloy wheels from Maranello and Ferrari’s excellent carbon ceramic braking system, this is a definitive expression of the classic front-engine Ferrari, a magnificent grand-touring berlinetta infused with the most sophisticated F1 technology of its moment. https://www.mecum.com/lots/520412/2007-ferrari-599-gtb-fiorano/
Chassis No.: ZFF70RCA5B0177946 Auction: Monterey 2024 Auction date: August 17, 2024 Lot No.: F51 $742,500 | Sold • Odometer: 5,085 km • Engine: V-12 • Transmission: Automatic • Exterior: White • Interior: Beige • Body: Coupe • Metric odometer reads 5,085 kilometers • 6.0L V-12 engine • Automatic transmission • White exterior with Blue stripes • Scuderia shields • Beige leather interior • Must be sold to an out of state resident or licensed dealer At the 2006 Geneva Motor Show, Ferrari unveiled the new 599 GTB Fiorano, which was positioned to be the successor to the popular, front-engine 575M Maranello. Styled by Ken Okuyama at Pininfarina, the 599 GTB was designed to be a front-engine, grand-touring car that combined one of Ferrari’s most powerful engines with advanced aerodynamics, new materials and an impressively high level of technology to yield the most advanced Ferrari GT ever built. The first Ferrari production car to feature an aluminum chassis, the 599 GTB was powered by a normally aspirated 6.0L (5999cc) Tipo F140C V-12 engine capable of producing 612 HP, which made it the most powerful production Ferrari GT car up to that point. This record-setting power was fed through either a 6-speed manual transmission or Ferrari’s F1 Superfast semi-automatic 6-speed transmission, which could enact a gear change in just 100 milliseconds. With record-setting power and torque combined with a lightweight (3,922-pound) body with aerodynamic undertray, venturi tunnels and downforce-generating C pillars, the 599 GTB was capable of a 0-62 MPH time of just 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 205 MPH. Then, in 2010, Ferrari announced a limited run of GTO-specification 599s that would receive an even more powerful 661 HP engine mated with the 6-speed semi-automatic gearbox and exhaust system from the 599XX track car. The result was the then-fastest road-going Ferrari to ever lap the Fiorano test track. This 2011 Ferrari 599 GTO is one of just 599 examples ever built. Finished in white with blue racing stripes over a beige leather interior, this extremely rare and collectible Ferrari is powered by a 6.0L V-12 engine and automatic transmission and equipped with bucket seats, quad exhaust tips, silver brake calipers, alloy wheels and Scuderia shields. https://www.mecum.com/lots/1122454/2011-ferrari-599-gto/
