The newcomer was also a great success: not only was it much more comfortable to drive, thanks to a new cocktail of aids, it was also more powerful, with 490 hp for 1,350 kg! Our example was delivered new in June 2007 from the Zender factory in Germany, in an absolutely unique configuration... Some options are already very interesting (carbon-ceramic brakes, carbon finish for the cockpit, absence of the Cavalino on the front fenders, yellow rev counter), but two elements make this car truly important... The first, and most visible, is of course its extremely rare (not to say unique on F430 Coupés) color: Rosso Barchetta 322, a dark, non-metallic red derived from Ferrari single-seaters of the 1950s. Where the 360s were spoiled with a few examples wearing this color, the F430s are much rarer, since only one Spider version is known in the USA, and this F430 Coupé has remained hidden in the collection of its current owner for many years... The second point is crucial, and makes the car even more desirable: the car is equipped with a manual gearbox! Sold as standard with an F1 gearbox, only a handful of examples had been sold with this 6-speed gearbox, and its mythical aluminum grille...
