    BMW E30 325i Convertible, 1988

Chassis No.: WBABB320302265417 Engine No.: 21346628 Registration: F636 JHJ OFFERS INVITED The BMW 3 series is a compact executive car manufactured since May 1975 and has been produced in six different generations and in five different body styles. It is BMW's best-selling model accounting for around 30% of the BMW brand's annual total sales and has won numerous awards throughout its history. The E30 was sold from 1982 through to 1991 in saloon form and through to 1993 in convertible format. This very nice example is presented in Alpine White with tan leather interior and with the rare factory supplied brown roof. The previous owner was a reputable Ferrari technician who owned the car from 1994 to 2011 when our client purchased the car and it has covered a mere 6,000 miles since then. It was recommissioned in 2021 when a new water pump was fitted, new clutch plates, new clutch master and slave and hoses were fitted. The gearbox oil was also replaced. Its also worth noting that the car has been dry stored and never used in the wet since 2011 and it has 90% original paint, never been welded and has had no known accidents. It has some rare accessories such as Hartge BMW tuning, five 16” wheels/caps, steering wheel and gear knob and is fitted with rear head rests and has updated BT radio and speakers to standard specification. The history file contains many MoTs from 1992, current V5 and past and also the options sheet from the Main Dealer when it was new. Chassis No.: WBSAK010802191628 Engine No.: 60294353 £65,250 | Sold • Transmission: manual • Body Colour: Misano Red Without a doubt, the most successful 'Touring Car' of all time. The following five lots have been generously donated by Jonathan Giacobazzi, whose family wine brand has long been associated with Scuderia Ferrari - and especially with the legendary Gilles Villeneuve. As both a friend and personal sponsor Jonathan's father was very close to Villeneuve, and he regularly asked the Canadian to sign postcards and photos to be given to fans. After Gilles was killed at the 1982 Belgian GP the Giacobazzi family retained many signed items in its extensive collection of Ferrari and Villeneuve memorabilia. Jonathan, who himself now works for the Ferrari communications department, has donated no fewer than four personally signed Villeneuve items from the family's unique collection, along with another signed by legendary coachbuilder Sergio Scaglietti. https://www.iconicauctioneers.com/1988-bmw-m3-sport-evolution-ii-rec08222-1-0918?pn=0&el=9984&pp=0
