There’s a special kind of satisfaction in the moment when a long-anticipated part finally arrives. That’s exactly what I felt when my Akrapovič exhaust for the Porsche GT3 RS was delivered to Dubai.

I ordered the system directly from the manufacturer. If I recall correctly, the price was around 27,000 AED. Delivery took about one month — quite reasonable considering the scale and nature of the order.

At the workshop, everything went smoothly and surprisingly fast. The installation took just about three hours. The first time the engine roared to life with the new system, it was clear — the wait had been worth it.

The exhaust note turned out exactly as I imagined:

  • Not overly loud, so it doesn’t become tiring on long drives.
  • Not too quiet, keeping the spirit of a true sports car alive.
  • With the right sporty tones, perfectly complementing the character of the GT3 RS.

It’s that rare balance where every drive feels emotional, yet never overwhelming.

In Dubai, it’s often said that even replacing just the rear section of the exhaust can cause issues with the dealer and potentially void the warranty. My approach is straightforward: if problems arise, I’ll go directly to the Porsche headquarters in Germany. I plan to write a formal letter to ensure I have official confirmation and eliminate any risks.

The Verdict

For now, everything is working flawlessly:

  • No error codes,
  • No warning lights,
  • The system runs perfectly.

I’m 100% satisfied. Once again, Akrapovič has proven that they know how to create an exhaust system that transforms the driving experience without going over the top.
