Chassis No.: 45113681B

Engine No.: 45104290A

Registration: JUC 600K

Launched at the 1963 Earls Court Motor Show, the P6, Rover’s internal project name, was aimed at the young executive who wanted modern, sporting, high quality transport. Winner of the European Car of the Year Award 1964, it had an advanced design that included a De Dion tube rear suspension, disc brakes all round and an alloy bonnet and boot lid. The early four cylinder power plants remained conventional until the introduction of the fabulous Buick derived 3528cc V8 had joined the party in 1968, this being one of those V8 powered motor cars offered today.

This stunning Mk. II example has benefitted from a photographic body restoration, as such presents extremely well in its original paint and trim scheme of Tobacco Leaf with a Sandalwood herringbone interior. This attractive Rover retains its original Passport to Service book and numerous invoices of servicing work. Completing this paperwork file are the original Owner's Manuals and wallet along with period 1972 brochures. The vendor states that as a result of regular maintenance this P6 performs faultlessly on the road with a refined, lively and quiet engine. As a testimony to the quality of the car she has been awarded over twenty-five cups and trophies won in club competitions. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document this P6 is ready to be enjoyed immediately.
