French title - Rare in this condition and this color combination - Engine prepared to stage 1, powerful and flexible - High quality restoration - No reserve The Rover P6 on sale, originally from Germany, benefited from a comprehensive restoration in 2014 at a cost of approximately €50,000. The engine was redone and prepared for stage 1 by the British specialist RPI Engineering in Norfolk, as was the braking system. The carburetors are mounted on an Offenhauser intake manifold and breathe through K&N air filters. The exhaust manifolds are made of stainless steel and a short-lever 5-speed gearbox has been installed.

The instruments on the dashboard have been redone and it is fitted with 4 electric windows, 4 retractable seat belts and a large Finlandia Safari manual sunroof which gives clarity to the all-leather interior. The steering wheel is also sheathed in black leather, and the car features Minilite Magnesium rims shod with Vredestein VR Sprint Classic tires. An Alpine Bluetooth radio is hidden in the left glove box and a battery switch is housed in the trunk. This P6 was sold by the Houtkamp Collection garage in Holland to a French enthusiast in 2017.

It was chosen by the selection committee for the famous Chantilly Elegance competition in 2022 and also participated in the Concours des journées du partrimoine at the Château de Neuville de Gambais that same year. It was the subject of two articles in Auto Plus # 1789 and in Auto Plus Classiques # 62 in 2022. A file of invoices comes with the car. This car features a Drakkar logo, and it was voted Car of the Year 1964, and is all ready to hit the road.
