The vehicle is a 1970 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow long wheel base Saloon with division window. The Rolls was ordered and purchased by ABC Television Network as a gift for Johnny Cash. Original mileage on the vehicle is approximately 32,000. Mileage not indicated on title. Johnny Cash ownership provenance includes 'build to order' specifications with factory provided 'JRC' initials in gold on the rear doors, Tennessee registration, Schoellkopf Card and published references to Johnny Cash ownership. The Rolls was purchased from Johnny Cash in 1985-1986 and has been in private ownership since.
