This Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II was donated to the AACA Museum in 2010 and has 23,000 miles on it. It has the Rolls-Royce 6.75-liter V-8 engine that has an aluminum-silicon alloy cylinder block with cast-iron wet cylinder liners, aluminum alloy cylinder heads and twin SU carburetors. The Shadow II has a 120-inch wheelbase and the steering is power rack-and-pinion. Rolls-Royce utilized Citroen’s hydraulic self-leveling suspension at the rear and performs flawlessly. Other mechanical equipment includes four-wheel power disc brakes and a three-speed automatic transmission.

The finish on the Silver Shadow II is as superior as one might expect, with burled walnut wood trim, Connolly leather hide interior and Wilton carpets. The ivory paint finish is very nice and appears to be the original factory paint with no major blemishes. The complementary tan interior is also fund in good condition with no major issues, while the wood trim elements are clean and bright and seem to be intact. The car runs and drives well, again, with no major concerns. The AACA Museum has no documentation prior to its donation, but the previous owner stated the car has the original body, paint, moutons and that the leather and wood are in good condition.

The Rolls-Royce has its factory toolkit in the trunk and the car also comes with the factory consumer information booklet with the supplement and also the customer delivery booklet. There is also a complete set of sheepskin moutons in the trunk.

Although the vehicle starts and runs well, it has been part of a collection for the last few years; the buyer is advised that it may require some degree of re-commissioning before placing it into routine service.
