1969 Pontiac Firebird factory 4-speed with deluxe interior package with power disc brakes. The vehicle has an extensive 10-year restoration. The body was stripped down to bare metal and shot with Lizard Skin sound-deadener followed by a nice paint job, resprayed in Corvette Monterey Red. The motor has been upgraded to an LS3 from a 2008 Corvette with less than 22,000 miles. Southwest car (no rust). Rebuilt Muncie 4-speed transmission with Hurst Comp Plus shifter. The undercarriage of the car has also been detailed with new brake lines, fuel lines, as well custom exhaust with OEM catalytic converters installed to pass stringent the California smog standards.
Aluminum 4-core radiator with electric fan and custom-fabricated headers, motor mounts and painless wiring kit all professionally installed. It has a baffled fuel tank with in-tank fuel pump. A 356 gear rounds out the package. The interior has been upgraded as well with nice period-correct-looking comfy Corbeau seats and Dakota digital dash gauges, custom leather consul with recessed firebird badging. New carpeting, OEM style headliner, custom seat brackets for extra legroom and new dash. All the chrome and brightwork has been replaced. The car has been driven less than 1,000 miles since completion.
