Pontiac never produced a GTO station wagon, but that didn’t stop the dedicated builder of this 1965 Tempest from creating his own. This custom-built dream machine has undergone a top quality, no-expenses-spared, complete frame-off restoration that saw every nut and bolt either replaced or cleaned and painted to as new. The GTO-style hood opens to reveal a show-grade .030-over 1971 455 CI Pontiac engine mated to a 350 Turbo automatic, and the GTO vibe continues inside with bucket seats, His-n-Hers shifter, factory tach and wood-rimmed wheel. Power steering and brakes, Vintage Air and power back window complete this immaculate wagon’s transformation.
