Showing just 42 miles, this Lamborghini Huracan STO presents remarkably well. The Blu Laufey exterior is highlighted by Arancio Xanto and features a number of aerodynamic aids to direct airflow, helping to keep the exceedingly fast car on the ground, much like a race car. The black interior is heavily upholstered in Alcantara and accented by blue detailing and carbon fiber; even the steering wheel is upholstered in Alcantara and accented with Bianco Leda stitching.
Powered by a 5.2L/631 HP V-10 engine and an automatic transmission, the car is fitted with a lifting system to aid it over high points in the road, the full exterior carbon pack, CCMR brake calipers in black and Hek 20-inch monoblock forged matte black wheels with central wheel locks in Arancio Dac. The owner’s manual and books, Automobili Lamborghini accessories kit and an STO duffle bag round out this rare, handmade Huracan STO. The Huracan Super Trofeo Omologata is a remarkably unique automobile for Lamborghini as it is the culmination of Lamborghini’s motorsports knowledge and overall heritage in one package.
It’s a race car for the streets—hence the Omologata, or homologation, in the name. It’s a street car that is a fraction of an inch from being a true race car. To achieve the various dynamics of a race car, about three quarters of the car is constructed of carbon fiber to help save weight and add strength. To keep the car on the ground, a host of aerodynamic components were installed and the chassis was heavily reengineered from the base model Huracan. The V-10 is the quickest-revving, highest-performing made by the company so far—so much so that magazines have tested the car showing 0-60 MPH times in the 2.5-second range.
They’ve found 100 MPH in a scant 6 seconds and 150 MPH in 15 seconds, and the top speed is said to be just shy of 200 MPH.
