Owned by a collector from Seattle, United States, in the 2000s, this XK 140 roadster arrived in Belgium in 2003 before joining our collection. It was then white with a black interior, but had the advantage of being equipped with its original engine block and an overdrive, a highly desirable option.
Like all the cars in the collection, it underwent restoration with the aim of regaining all its elegance and being suitable for regular use. The restoration required more than three years of work, and today this roadster boasts beautiful sky-blue paintwork, complemented by chrome wire wheels. The black leather interior is lightly patinated, evidence of careful use. Like all the cars in our collector's collection, it has cigarette lighters beneath the dashboard to keep an electronic device charged.
In addition, to ensure trouble-free driving, it is equipped with an aluminium radiator and auxiliary fans. A routine service was carried out in June 2022 at the MV Classic Car garage. With an older restoration that has stood the test of time remarkably well, its original engine block and original overdrive, this XK 140 roadster will delight those who know how to enjoy the charm of a wonderful British sports car.
