A comprehensive build by Velocity Modern Classics brings an authentic 1971 Bronco experience together with modern Ford Coyote V-8 power. The Pensacola, Florida, company specializes in 1966-67 Bronco restorations and created Serial No. 270 with a balanced blend of factory equipment and exclusive in-house customizations. The corrected and powder-coated original chassis sports a body and uncut rear fenders finished in Glasurit Velocity Orange with Wimbledon White Ranger stripes. Chrome mirrors and door handles and a billet gas cap accent timeless design, and JW Speaker LED headlights turn darkness into light.
A Velocity Modern Classics serial plaque in the engine bay means the 5.0L Coyote V-8 engine is equipped with a brace of exclusive performance upgrades. A Velocity aluminum fuel tank and oil pan, serpentine belt system and custom exhaust with headers team up for 430 HP. An AOD automatic transmission with overdrive churns the Ford 9-inch rear and Dana 44 front axle with Warn locking hubs. Bilstein suspension and 4-wheel Wilwood Hydroboost disc brakes help to deliver confident control on or off the road. AMP Research power-operated running boards offer a step up into the custom cabin.
High-back front and rear tumble seats wear white upholstery, with custom inserts coordinated to the all-weather Velocity floor mats, and Vintage Air delivers four-season comfort. Exclusive Velocity Dakota Digital gauges and a wood-rimmed steering wheel on an Ididit tilt column serve as the command center, and a custom Alpine Bluetooth-enabled sound system with Kicker four-speaker enclosure and subwoofer kick out the jams. The elder Bronco with a new V-8 heart rolls over the terrain on paint-matched, 17-inch steel wheels and 31×10.5-inch Cooper Evolution M/T tires.
