This cool New Yorker coupe is finished in a gorgeous red. The 1961 model was the last year the New Yorker was produced with its iconic tailfins designed by Virgil Exner. The interior is gray cloth accented with black vinyl, and features bench front and rear seats. It has the original RB 413ci Golden Lion 6.8-liter V8 engine. This motor produces 350hp at 4600 rpms and 480 ft/lbs of torque at 2800 rpms. This Lion is fueled by a 4-barrel carburetor, and the 10-to-1 compression engine is no slouch, carrying this coupe down the road with ease. This motor is strong and produces a significant amount of low-end torque.

It features a 3-speed push-button automatic transmission; simply push the button to drive and go. It shifts smoothly between the gears, laying down the power nicely. Additional features include new whitewall radial tires, original hubcaps and headlights, as well as the original radio and clock. The parking brake, parking lights and turn signals all work. It is equipped with factory air conditioning. The New Yorker also has factory power brakes and power steering.
