The popular Chevrolet Impala SS was promoted from an optional trim package to a separate model at the top of the full-size line in 1964, its masculine new styling serving as the foundation for an expansive list of options that enabled buyers to create an almost endless variety of personalized machines. This 1964 Impala SS convertible from the Verde Collection illustrates the extent to which the model could be tailored. It is correctly finished in Ember Red with a White power-operated soft top, Red interior and Red tonneau cover.
