Audi's Quattro took the rallying world by storm, being the first car to use a turbocharged engine in conjunction with four wheel drive. The results were astounding and the message for manufacturers was clear, they needed four-wheel drive to be competitive in rallying. The road car featured an up rated version of Audi's 2 litre 5 cylinder engine capable of turning out over 215bhp. The road car was as sensational as the rally car, being in its day probably the most practical and capable of performance cars.

This 1987 Audi Quattro is finished in Pearl White with full grey leather interior, and an original, fully functioning, digital dash. No expense has been spared in rebuilding this car to an exacting standard. A bare metal respray (including the removal of all the glass, engine etc.) has recently taken place along with a re trim in exact period full grey leather interior. The car boasts powder coated cross members ,braided hoses, copper brake pipes, MacPherson adjustable suspension, refurbished wheels and new period Pirelli P Zero tyres. A total engine, gearbox and axle rebuild was completed and the 300bhp engine has covered only 'running in' mileage since.

Additional features include: factory tilt sunroof, heated seats, power assisted steering and ABS brake system. This iconic car is presented in stunning condition throughout and is supplied with two folders detailing all works carried out, all documentation, remote alarm and Tracker. Fully Taxed and Mot'd, this 1980s icon would make an ideal everyday classic.
