Porsche’s Wildest Interior Details

Forget horsepower for a moment. The Porsche Mission S stands out for how it tries to make driving feel hands-on again, even as cars become increasingly digital.
Instead of a fixed center touchscreen, Porsche uses a retractable MagSafe phone mount. Five circular gauges physically shift with the selected drive mode, and the tachometer pairs digital graphics with a real moving needle. Want to disable driver aids? One red “On your own” button handles it.
The details get even more unusual: a custom aluminium key, an adjustable gear lever and a motorsport-inspired seatbelt buckle. At the back, a huge cooling fan pays tribute to the legendary Porsche 917 while serving a practical purpose.
The concept currently uses PDK, but its platform could accommodate a manual if buyers demand one. Could these tactile touches make the Mission S more appealing than another screen-filled supercar? Which detail would you want in a production Porsche?
