The 5.0L aluminum-alloy DOHC V-8 engine packs an Eaton twin-vortex supercharger for 495 HP at 6,500 RPM with a peak 460 lb-ft of torque delivered from 2,500-5,500 RPM. The engine is backed by an 8-speed ZF Quickshift automatic transmission with a center console and paddle-activated manual shift that channels power to the rear wheels through a mechanical limited-slip differential with active electronic control. The lightweight bonded-aluminum chassis features fully independent suspension with adaptive damping. Jaguar Super High Performance brakes with 15-inch vented rotors and red painted calipers slow the F-Type from speed. The driver-focused F-Type S cockpit is upholstered in jet black leather accented with contrasting Firesand stitching.
