In 1989, Dodge and Cummins came together to make a diesel light truck for the ages. From 1989-92, Dodge coupled the Cummins to a Gertrag 5-speed manual transmission. Now, with the use of Advance Adapters Mopar NV4500 transmission bellhousing adapters, you can upgrade these earlier models to the NV4500.
