This 1989 Porsche 930 Turbo is a very special car in many different aspects. This is the last production year 930, and the only year to have a 5-speed manual transmission. Powered by a 296 horsepower, turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six engine paired with a G50 5-speed transmission. Presented on Evergreen 16-inch staggered Fuchs wheels with black centers and satin lips. This car is an extremely rare Sonderwunsch (“Special Wishes”) initially commissioned by Porsche of Doha, Qatar, on behalf of the Royal and Ruling family of Qatar. Believed to have been commissioned and personally ordered new by Sheikh Khalifa Bin Hamad Al Thani in early October of 1988.
This car is finished in a Velvet Red Metallic exterior over a Leather To Sample (99) Pearl White with Velvet Red piping. Optioned with code 09991 indicates a unique “By Hand” assembly. Equipped initially with regular production options of (018) steering wheel with elevated hub, (197) high output/ cold cranking amp battery and alternator, (330) Blaupunkt Toronto SQR 46 Stereo Cassette Radio, (391) stone guard protection added separately, (430) fog lights in yellow, (462) Sekuriflex windscreen, (605) headlight leveling system, (650) electric sliding sunroof, (980) draped leather front seats.

Imported to California in March of 2022, this car was inspected and serviced by The Porsche Classic Center in San Diego, California, upon its arrival.
