A well-specified and sensibly estimated Porsche 911 (997.1) Carrera 2S, equipped with the desirable 6-speed manual gearbox. The 997 was initially available from July 2004 in two guises, Carrera and Carrera S, both rear-wheel drive only with identical bodywork. The base Carrera stuck with the well established 3.6-litre power unit producing 325bhp, however the Carrera S offered 355bhp – thanks to a larger displacement engine (3.8-litres). Other general 997 enhancements included better suspension, reduced drag-coefficient and a more appealing interior.
The Carrera S also benefitted from a sports exhaust, PASM, bigger brakes, 19” Sport Design wheels with red brake callipers and Xenon headlights as standard. Finished in Basalt Black with a black leather interior, this UK-supplied example was first registered on 10/08/2005. In addition to the standard spec the car was optioned with the Sport Chrono Package Plus, Sport seats, Sport shifter, Park Assist, navigation module for PCM, and the Bose high-end sound system. Four former registered keepers and purchased by the current owner on 29/08/2023. Serviced by Porsche specialist La Rose Porsche in 2023. New clutch in 2023 with c.5,000 miles since. Recent front radiator hose replacements.
