Porsche’s unique heritage inspired the 2024 911 S/T, a limited edition special built to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the original 911. Offered with an odometer reading of 132 miles, this 2024 911 S/T is No. 1,151 of only 1,963 produced, that figure referring to the first model year of the 911. Designed for pure driving pleasure rather than track performance, it recalls the lightweight factory 911 racers produced for Group 4 competition in the early 1970s.
In keeping with that theme, the 2024 edition features a naturally aspirated 4.0L/518 HP Boxer 6-cylinder engine mated to a short throw-shifted 6-speed manual transmission with shorter ratios for improved acceleration, a unique lightweight clutch and single-mass flywheel. The 911 S/T features a unique carbon fiber roof and front fenders, sharing its carbon fiber doors with the GT3 RS and carbon fiber hood with the GT3.
Lightweight glass and reduced sound insulation, an extended range fuel tank, retractable rear spoiler and 20-inch front and 21-inch rear magnesium centerlock wheels over carbon ceramic disc brakes with black Porsche-script calipers further attest to the S/T’s emphasis on pure performance. Balancing that is this S/T’s optional Heritage Design Package comprising exclusive Shore Blue Metallic paint, gold Porsche badging and “1963-2023” crests, in this case deleting the normally included motorsport decals and No. 63 roundels. The Heritage Design interior is pure vintage Porsche with modern touches.
Black and Classic Cognac leather, a perforated headliner and carbon fiber bucket front seats with fabric seating surfaces share space with the Sport Chrono Package, ambient lighting, a Bose surround sound system and classic Porsche Green gauge dials.
