After first being delivered to Rabe Graf von Oehnhausen, Grandfather of Marcus Graf von Oehnhausen, founder of the private race track Bilster Berg, this 1962 Porsche 356 Carrera 2 GS Coupé was then pressed into a much more exciting life. This car’s second owner converted the Carrera 2 to GT-spec during 1967, racing the car at Zandvoort and the Osnabrück Slalom. Its fourth owner, Heribert Küke of ‘Küke Motorsport’, also took to the track, racing at Brands Hatch and the Nürburgring.
This car’s fifth and present owner acquired the car in 1998. It still retains its original engine and gearbox and has participated in many events, including the Tour Auto and Gran Premio Nuvolari. An accompanying history file contains a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and extensive maintenance and restoration documentation. Body and engine restorations were undertaken by Harald Hackenberg and Karl Hloch, respectively – two of the most renowned Porsche restorers in Germany. From 2008 to 2010, the car was fully restored at Classic Boxers in Erkrat, Germany, which included a paintjob to the highest standards. ‘On the button’, this car represents an excellent opportunity for the new owner to take to the track and add to its interesting history.
Après sa livraison au Comte Rabe von Oehnhausen, grand-père du Comte Marcus von Oehnhausen, fondateur du circuit privé de Bilster Berg, cette Porsche 356 Carrera 2 GS Coupé de 1962 connut une vie bien plus trépidante. Son deuxième propriétaire la fit passer en 1967 en définition GT et la pilota à Zandvoort et au slalom d'Osnabrück. Et son quatrième propriétaire, Heribert Küke de Küke Motorsport, la fit également courir, à Brands Hatch et au Nürburgring.
Le cinquième et actuel propriétaire de cette voiture l'acquit en 1998. Elle a toujours son moteur et sa boîte d'origine, et a participé à de nombreuses épreuves, dont le Tour Auto et le Gran Premio Nuvolari. On trouvera dans son dossier un certificat d'authenticité Porsche et une documentation complète portant sur sa restauration et son entretien. Les restaurations de la carrosserie et du moteur ont été respectivement effectuées par Harald Hackenberg et Karl Hloch, qui figurent parmi les restaurateurs de Porsche les plus renommés d'Allemagne. De 2008 à 2010, la voiture a été entièrement restaurée par Classic Boxers d'Erkrat, en Allemagne, avec un travail de peinture du meilleur niveau.
