This right-hand drive Fulvia 1600HF was first registered on 1st September 1971; originally black, it was repainted red in 2003, having been converted to rally specification circa 1992/1993. The vendor advises us that the engine was rebuilt at 97,000 miles (the current odometer reading 112,600 miles) and that the car has had nine previous owners. This Fulvia has enjoyed a highly successful career in Historic rallying, competing in the Rallye des Pyrenees (twice); the Tulip Rally; the Monte Carlo Historique (four times, with a best finish of 3rd in class); Rallye Historique de Belgique (1st overall); Woolbridge Championship (1st); LMC Landmarks Rally (1st); and many more besides.
Accompanying documentation includes MoTs, service invoices, and numerous bills for thousands of pounds dating back to 1994; some rally history (UK and Europe) including photographs and press cuttings; a Fulvia buyer's guide; and a V5C Registration Certificate. The car also comes with a wiring diagram (it was rewired in 2001); workshop manuals; a set of five wheels/tyres; a jack; and some service parts. One particularly notable feature is the timing clock, which started life in a MiG-15 jet fighter!
