In Ferrari’s own words, the 812 Competizione “is the ultimate expression of Ferrari’s concept of an extreme front-engined berlinetta,” refining the celebrated DNA of the 812 Superfast to unprecedented levels of performance and precision. Following in the footsteps of the 599 GTO and F12tdf, this new 12-cylinder Special Series model introduced the most powerful naturally aspirated engine ever fitted in a Ferrari road car upon its debut. Generating a remarkable 819 horsepower at a soaring 9,500 rpm, the Competizione surges from 0 to 62 mph in a mere 2.85 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 211 mph.
True to its name, every aspect of the Competizione is engineered for performance. The rear buttresses and unique carbon-finned hood are not mere visual cues, as they enhance downforce and reduce turbulence, contributing to a level of aerodynamic efficiency previously unseen in a front-engined Ferrari. The four-wheel steering system and Ferrari’s E-Diff limited-slip differential system grant the Competizione extraordinary agility and surgical precision on both road and track.
