Aesthetically similar to the outgoing 400i, upon its introduction in 1985 the Ferrari 412 offered slightly increased performance and some updates over its predecessor. Chief among these was a slightly larger V-12 engine, now boasting 340 bhp at 6,000 rpm and a 0–100 km/h time of 6.7 seconds. This would also be the first Ferrari fitted with ABS and buyers could choose between a five-speed manual transmission or a three-speed automatic.
Imported to Switzerland from Japan by its current owner in 2016, this 412 is finished in a tasteful subtle colour combination of dark blue over a red leather interior and is fitted with the automatic transmission. The car presents very well throughout and appears to have been restored at some point in its recent past and exhibits few signs of wear throughout. Additionally, it is accompanied by an original owner’s manual, as well as a correct tool kit and jack. For the enthusiast looking to step into their first Ferrari and for a car that is just as exciting to drive as it is practical, this 412 would be an excellent choice.
La Ferrari 412 fut lancée en 1985. D'aspect similaire à la 400i alors en fin de carrière, elle proposait des performances légèrement améliorées et quelques mises à jour par rapport à sa devancière. Il s'agissait essentiellement d'un V12 un peu plus gros, qui développait désormais 340 chevaux à 6 000 tr/min et assurait un 0 à 100 km/h en 6,7 secondes. C'était aussi la première Ferrari équipée de l'ABS. Ses acheteurs avaient le choix entre une boîte manuelle à cinq rapports et une automatique à trois rapports.
Cette 412 a été importée en 2016 du Japon en Suisse par son propriétaire actuel. Elle est équipée de la boîte automatique et présente une subtile harmonie de teintes du meilleur goût, bleu foncé avec intérieur en cuir rouge. Elle a très bel aspect et semble avoir récemment bénéficié d'une certaine rénovation ; elle montre par ailleurs quelques signes d'usure. Elle est proposée avec son manuel utilisateur d'origine, une bonne trousse à outils et son cric. Pour les passionnés qui veulent s'offrir leur première Ferrari et une voiture qui soit aussi enthousiasmante à conduire que possible, cette 412 constituerait un excellent choix.
