The Bentley tradition - this mythical and sporty English brand has won at Le Mans five times, which of course sets it apart from Rolls Royce, which has no racing credentials. A Bentley is a car for gentleman drivers; for men who love this luxury brand and its powerful temperament. The first Azure was built on the basis of the Bentley Continental R from 1995 onwards, and the second generation was introduced in 2006, based on the Bentley Arnage. This superb Bentley was purchased new by the son of the President of Equatorial Guinea. It was parked in the Foch car park alongside around ten supercars, including his Maserati MC12, two Bugatti Veyrons, his Porsche Carrera GT, a Ferrari 599 GTO, etc.
In July 2012, all the cars were seized by the courts as "ill-gotten gains" and auctioned off at Hôtel Drouot in Paris. The current owner acquired it at this auction. The car was registered in France and resided at his various properties in Deauville, Paris, and Miami - the owner having had the English Beauty shipped to accompany him on some of his American visits. This Bentley Azure is superb in its white/light beige leather colour combination and, with its light wood trim, it offers luxury and incomparable driving pleasure, with around 10,800 km on the clock.
When it goes on display for sale, it will have only recently undergone a full service at Bentley Paris, meaning you will be ready to take to the road, the wind in your hair, enjoying the opulent luxury for which Bentley is renowned.
