A two owner B3 platform Coupé with 63,650 miles supported by a detailed history file from new.
Introduced in 1988 and based on the Audi 80's B3 platform, the Audi Coupé 2.3-litre 20v formed part of the marque’s late-eighties sporting range, offered with five-cylinder power and Quattro drivetrain technology. Powered by a 2.3-litre, five-cylinder, 20-valve engine driving through a 5-speed manual gearbox, performance was quoted at 0 to 60 mph in 8.1 seconds and 136mph. Factory specification included air conditioning, electric sunroof and windows, headlamp washers, onboard computer, Procon Ten safety system, and factory alarm.
Supplied new by VW and Audi dealer Jaffar Motors in Redditch for a little over £27,000 in August 1990, this superb example has covered just 63,650 miles and remains with its second owner. Finished in Glacier Grey Metallic over Marine Blue Velour and sitting on 15" five-spoke alloys, the car has benefitted from a full respray with all windows removed and re-bonded, a new windscreen, refreshed brake callipers and a replacement headlining. The underside was treated and undersealed before receiving a ceramic coating finish.
Mechanical works include a full service with filters and spark plugs, replacement front and rear brake discs and pads, new hydraulic brake servo and master cylinder, brake flexi hoses, wiper motors, bulbs, a stainless steel exhaust and sports catalytic converter by Keltec Exhausts in Leeds, together with a period correct Blaupunkt DAB radio and new speakers. It's supplied with its original sales invoice and a fully stamped service book with 21 Audi stamps and eight specialist entries, invoices for further recent servicing, MOT Certificates, original tax discs, handbooks, both sets of keys, spare original radio, spare hydraulic brake servo, and four additional refurbished wheels.
