A rare B2 Coupé optioned with the Type 85 Quattro 4WD system and on offer from long term family ownership with an impressive history file.
This smart Coupé is a post-facelift example of the non turbo-charged 2,226cc 10v Quattro and being the normally aspirated model, it lacks the characteristic flared wheel arches of the turbo. Fitted with the 134bhp, 2,226cc, 10-valve KV engine with that pronounced five-cylinder 'warble' and optioned with the Quattro 4WD system. First registered in May 1985, this UK-supplied, 10-valve car has remained in the same family from new — owned by the father until March 2000, then passed to his daughter and now forms part of a Collection. The V5C shows one previous keeper and 109,000 miles. Recent extensive, high standard restoration.
Finished in Alpine White over a Quartz tweed interior with black carpets and sitting on 14" multi-spoke alloys. Supplied with its original book pack including service book containing 26 service stamps, a folder of receipts and a photo album documenting the restoration. The Type 85 four-wheel drive system was an option later in the coupés life. These are rare cars, much less common than their turbocharged siblings and considerably better value.
