Nissan is reshuffling the 2027 Murano lineup, and buyers will have to pay more to get into the midsize SUV. The base SV trim has been dropped, making the Murano SL the new entry point at $45,535. That is actually $2,770 less than the previous SL, but the cheaper price comes with fewer features.
The 2027 Nissan Murano SL loses its panoramic sunroof, 10-speaker Bose audio system, and in-dash navigation. Since the SV was also the only front-wheel-drive version, every Murano is now equipped with all-wheel drive. Does the lower SL price make up for the missing equipment?
Nissan is also introducing the new Dark Armor trim for $48,535. It adds gloss-black 21-inch wheels, sportier exterior styling, and black Nissan and Dark Armor badges. Inside, Graphite is the only upholstery option, while buyers can choose from six exterior color combinations.
At the top of the range, the Murano Platinum starts at $51,335, just $10 below last year's price. The new lineup follows the Murano's major 2025 redesign, which helped sales jump from 19,316 units in 2024 to 42,747 in 2025. Will the revised 2027 lineup keep that momentum? Is losing popular equipment worth the lower SL price?
