AEV FX370 Brings Serious Off-Road Capability to the Ford Super Duty

American Expedition Vehicles has introduced its second complete upgrade package for the Ford Super Duty, offering a more approachable alternative to the recently unveiled FXL. Named the FX370, the new package swaps the FXL's massive 40-inch tires for 37-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K03 rubber while preserving nearly all of the truck's rugged off-road upgrades.
Is 37 inches all you really need for serious adventure? AEV certainly believes so. The FX370 receives the same heavy-duty stamped steel front bumper with winch compatibility, a high-clearance rear bumper and the company's proven four-inch DualSport suspension featuring Bilstein dampers. Together, these upgrades improve ground clearance and trail capability without compromising OEM-level refinement.
Unlike the FXL, the FX370 doesn't require extensive body modifications. Thanks to revised wheel wells and the suspension lift, the larger tires fit without cutting sheet metal or adding the HighMark fender flares used on its bigger sibling. Exterior graphics remain nearly identical, with only the FX370 badging distinguishing the two packages, while embroidered AEV headrests continue the premium theme inside.
The FX370 also rides on 18-inch AEV Salta wheels instead of the beadlock-capable Katmai wheels fitted to the FXL, although additional wheel options are expected once ordering opens.
Could the FX370 be the better balance between daily usability and extreme off-road performance? Production is scheduled to begin in October, with pre-orders already available. Pricing starts at $19,999, excluding the cost of the Ford Super Duty itself and any optional upgrades. Compared with the FXL, buyers save around $6,000 while giving up only three inches of tire diameter, making the FX370 an appealing choice for those seeking serious capability without going to the absolute extreme.
