    Aston Martin Makes the DBX More Comfortable

    Aston Martin is taking a different approach with the new DBX GT. Instead of extracting even more performance from its 717-hp SUV, the brand has turned its attention to comfort, refinement and long-distance usability. But can a luxury SUV with this much power really become a more relaxed machine? The formula remains seriously fast. The familiar 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 still delivers 717 hp and 663 lb-ft (900 Nm), sending the DBX GT from 0–60 mph (97 kph) in 3.1 seconds before reaching 193 mph (311 kph). So what exactly has changed? Aston Martin reworked the adaptive suspension to handle rough surfaces more smoothly and fitted 22-inch wheels with all-season tires as standard. The exhaust has also been retuned to sound quieter and more refined in GT mode. Inside, redesigned seats add 0.4 inches (10 mm) of softer cushioning, while thicker carpets and extra sound insulation further reduce noise. The exterior follows the same philosophy, with a new double-vane grille, metal detailing and more body-colored trim creating a less aggressive look than the DBX S.     The Luxury Side of the DBX

    Aston Martin is giving its super-SUV lineup a more luxurious direction with the 2027 Aston Martin DBX GT. While it shares the DBX S’s 717-hp twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8, the GT trades some aggression for greater comfort and refinement. Could this be the more appealing DBX for long-distance luxury? The exterior gets a cleaner look, including a horizontal-bar grille, body-color lower trim, new 22-inch Satin Titanium wheels and redesigned quad exhaust outlets. A 23-inch wheel package with Pirelli P-Zero summer tires is also available. Inside, upgraded upholstery, intricate stitching, extra cushioning and deeper-pile floor mats give the cabin a more upscale character. A panoramic glass roof and additional sound insulation further emphasize comfort. Underneath, Aston Martin retuned the suspension, dampers, throttle response and nine-speed automatic for smoother behavior without sacrificing control. The DBX GT also keeps the DBX S’s 3.1-second 0–60 mph time and 193-mph top speed, with carbon-ceramic brakes. Does 717 hp need a softer personality? And can the DBX GT strike the right balance between performance and luxury? Deliveries begin in Q4 2026, while pricing is expected to start around $290,000.
