    Morgan Plus 8, 1990

Chassis No.: R10329 Engine No.: 37A01680C Registration: G88 NNH The Morgan Plus 8 is a car that seamlessly blends old-world charm with robust V8 performance, offering a driving experience that is as unique as it is exhilarating. Rooted in Morgan's long-standing tradition of hand-crafted automobiles, the Plus 8 stands out as a symbol of individuality and engineering finesse. The Morgan Plus 8 retained its signature classic design, showcasing a timeless blend of vintage elegance and sporting flair. Its long bonnet, sweeping lines, and pronounced grille harken back to pre-war British roadsters, but with a flair that feels equally at home in the late 20th century. Despite its classic looks, the 1990 Plus 8 benefited from modern production techniques, ensuring improved durability and performance compared to earlier models. Under the bonnet of the 1990 Morgan Plus 8 lies a 3.5-litre Rover V8 engine, which produces approximately 190 horsepower. Coupled with a lightweight aluminum body and chassis, the Plus 8 achieves impressive acceleration, reaching 0-60 mph in under 6 seconds. Its top speed exceeds 120 mph, making it a spirited performer on open roads or winding country lanes. The car's manual transmission ensures an engaging connection between driver and machine, while the lack of modern driving aids demands skillful handling. Originally registered on 27th March 1990, this Morgan Plus 8 has only had three previous keepers, the vendor having owned the car since November 2015. Clearly this has been a much-loved example, presenting very well in Connaught Green with beige interior piped green. The fastidious owner has ensured this Morgan has been well maintained and we are advised it drives with no known faults. Aesthetically these are fabulous looking cars with its low lines, wooden dashboard, easy to read dials and don’t forget the soundtrack of the V8 engine. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a full years MoT together with a good history folder. The car’s responsiveness rewards precision and offers a visceral connection to the road. Its minimal insulation and open-top design heighten the sensory immersion, even decades later, the Morgan Plus 8 remains a quintessential example of British motoring heritage, embodying the philosophy of creating cars with soul and personality.
