From the first Cobras to the GT350 and a host of Mustang variants thereafter, any Ford product that Carroll Shelby turned his magic touch to was transformed into a giant killer. As with all Shelby hop-ups, they first started under the hood, giving the Super Snake a 5.0L V-8 engine that benefited from a supercharger, open-air performance intake with carbon fiber intake tube, heat exchanger, billet throttle body and revised fuel injectors. The result was a race car-like 750 HP blasted out of dual Borla exhausts with polished SST tips. Of course, all that horsepower necessitated a lowered, performance suspension setup to keep those ponies on the ground and a revised exterior treatment to show the world that this is no ordinary Ford. In addition to a four-piece Shelby body-side ground effects package, the Super Snake also boasts a dual intake Ram Air Shelby Super Snake hood, as well as functional front fender vents for increased engine cooling. The example on offer is one of these second-generation 2017 Ford F150 Shelby Super Snake pickups finished in Shelby Blue with white racing stripes and black interior.
