    Toyota Camry NASCAR, 2010

Chassis No.: RWR028 • Exterior: Black • Body: NASCAR • Built at the Rusty Wallace Racing in Mooresville, North Carolina • 360 CI V-8 engine • Edelbrock intake • 4-speed manual transmission • C&R Racing shifter • Signed by Rusty and Steve Wallace • Goodyear Eagle tires • Pro Comp gauges • Roll cage • SOLD ON A BILL OF SALE This 2010 Toyota Camry NASCAR racer is one of two cars fielded by Rusty Wallace Racing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Rusty Wallace Racing and Toyota began their relationship in 2010 in a combined quest to win the Nationwide Series. Wallace, who owned Toyota dealerships at the time, used the partnership to represent the Toyota brand on a larger scale. For two seasons, the cars were driven by Rusty’s son Steve Wallace and Brendan Gaughan. The team finished 10th and then ninth in points over the next two years but lack of sponsorship would result in RWR closing its doors and bowing out of the Nationwide Series the following year. This car was built by RWR in Mooresville, North Carolina, and has recently had the exterior graphics changed from the previous “5-Hour Energy” livery to black with flames. The body is in great condition all around and has fuel-tank access on both rear quarter-panels making it suitable for road racing. The interior of the car is all business. Pro Comp gauges help the driver keep an eye on the vitals of the car during competition and a full roll cage keeps the driver safe and helps to stabilize the frame during cornering. A 360 CI V-8 engine, developed by Toyota Racing Development, is topped by an Edelbrock induction system fed by a cowl-induction air cleaner. Typically for a NASCAR racer engine, access and servicing is quick and easy. The engine compartment and remainder of the car is very clean with little, if any, oil or rubber residue. A 4-speed manual transmission transfers power to the Goodyear Eagle racing tires and is controlled by a C&R Racing shifter. This is a great example of a versatile weekend racer for competitive or casual racing. Finishing touches on the car include Rusty Wallace Racing badging and both Rusty and Steve Wallace’s signatures on the dashboard. https://www.mecum.com/lots/256439/2010-toyota-camry-nascar/

    Toyota Camry NASCAR, 2010

Chassis No.: RHE3072225 $20,000 | High bid • Odometer: 0 miles • Engine: V-8 • Exterior: Black/Red/Sponsor Logos • Interior: White • Body: NASCAR • 2010 NASCAR COT Ronnie Hopkins/Michael Waltrip Toyota Camry NASCAR Cup Gen5/6 race car • Set up for participation in road-race SVRA, SCCA or as a track day car • Rebuilt nose to tail and sorted after an encounter with the wall • 500 HP Jegs Chevrolet V-8 crate engine • 4-speed clutch-less Mid Valley race transmission • Tildon clutch • “Joie of Seating” full containment seat • Carbon Fiber front end • Raced at The Goodwood Festival Of Speed in England 2019 • Won Best Appearing in 2023 At The Villages Car Show The NASCAR Car of Tomorrow (COT) was a change driven by several factors, safety being paramount. Offered here is the 2010 NASCAR COT of Ronnie Hopkins/Michael Waltrip Racing, a Toyota Camry Cup Series vehicle that combined Gen5 and Gen6 chassis and vehicle technology. Lettered up for period sponsors and named driver, this car is now set up for participation in road-race SVRA, SCCA or as a track day car, and will be sold on a Bill of Sale. Honors include an appearance at The Goodwood Festival of Speed in England in 2019 and, more recently, Best Appearing Car in 2023 at The Villages Car Show. This race-bred Camry here has been rebuilt nose-to-tail and sorted out after an “encounter with the wall.” For power, a Chevrolet V-8 crate engine from Jegs rated at 500 HP is now under the hood, though it wears custom TRD valve covers. This mill looks the part, and those braided lines and cowl-induction air cleaner are not for show only, with the Holley 4-barrel carburetor atop a high spacer to fit into the functional cowl scoop. There is an Accusump oiling system, dual MSD ignition layouts and a Boom Tube exhaust. Behind the crank is a Tildon clutch for starting and a clutchless 4-speed Mid Valley race transmission. Brembo brakes and a multi-angle rear shock layout complete it, and this includes a belt-driven pump on the differential. As noted, the body retains its race day paint, complete with a carbon-fiber front end, rapid-fill fuel opening for the ATL fuel cell, rocker area ground effects, and rear spoiler. The spartan interior shows off an ISP “Joie of Seating” full containment seat, Pro Comp instruments and Quick Car large diameter tach, quick-release steering wheel, and a full cage structure. Looking for something unique? Here’s an opportunity to own a piece of transitional circle-track racing technology. *Sold on a Bill of Sale https://www.mecum.com/lots/1102694/2010-toyota-camry-nascar/
