"Quand Alfa a annoncé la 8C, je me suis mis immédiatement sur les rangs," nous a avoué notre collectionneur. "Il fallait constituer un dossier pour être éligible, et j'ai fait une note récapitulant toutes les Alfa que j'avais eues." Un représentant d'Alfa Romeo France est même venu spécialement à Nevers pour préparer le bon de commande et ces démarches ont permis d'obtenir ce qui est sans doute le premier exemplaire livré neuf en France. Vendue via le garage Alfa Tenailles Automobiles GTA de Nevers, cette voiture de teinte "Rosso 8C Competizione" (code 202/B) avec intérieur en cuir rouge bénéficie de plusieurs options: ciel de toit en cuir, étriers de frein portant l'inscription Alfa Romeo, Quadrifoglio peint sur les ailes avant, jantes Racing, kit conduite carbone, système audio Bose, prise iPod, bagages Schedoni spéciaux (deux valises derrière les sièges, un attaché-case dans le coffre), extincteur, chargeur 8C et bon pour un "8C experience day", non utilisé. Cette 8C est accompagnée de plusieurs documents, dont une carte de vœux d'Alfa Romeo pour l'année 2008 en attendant la livraison de la 8C, un carton d'invitation au Salon de Paris 2006 pour la présentation de la 8C, divers échanges de courriers en vue d'être sélectionné comme acheteur, le bon de commande du 16 mars 2007 qui précise que la marque Alfa Romeo soit inscrite en rouge sur les étriers de frein. Un ensemble de factures figurant également au dossier rappelle les opérations entreprises et notamment quatre révisions aux établissements Pozzi: en 2009 à 1 780 km, en 2012 à 2 385 km (avec vidange), en 2013 à 3 054 km (pour un rappel) et en 2013 à 3 372 km (pour un total de 1 000 euros). Aujourd'hui, cette voiture affiche à peine plus de 6000 km et son état est proche du neuf. Nous avons seulement noté que le vérin de coffre arrière à remplacer. "Pour moi, c'est la plus emblématique et la plus aboutie des Alfa Romeo modernes," selon notre collectionneur. "C'est une voiture magnifique et, sur circuit, un immense plaisir." Ce qui n'a rien d'étonnant car Alfa n'avait pas lésiné sur les moyens en mettant au point cette machine d'exception. Elle faisait suite au concept car présenté en 2003 au Salon de Francfort et, dès son annonce, la demande avait dépassé de trois fois les 500 exemplaires prévus. <carousel>                     </carousel> La 8C commercialisée était dotée d'une mécanique d'origine Maserati, avec un V8 de 4,7 litres développant 450 ch et relié à une boîte séquentielle six rapport, ce qui lui permettait de dépasser 290 km/h. Exceptionnelle par sa mécanique et sa rareté, cette Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione présente en plus l'avantage d'être une première main française, très soigneusement entretenue et n'ayant que très peu roulé, avec un kilométrage extraordinairement bas et un état général qui se rapproche de celui d'une voiture neuve. Sans doute une des plus belles 8C Competizione disponibles sur le marché. Merci de noter que le véhicule est vendu sans contrôle technique de moins de 6 mois et que le véhicule n'affiche pas 6 000 km mais 3 765 km au compteur à ce jour. Sold via the Alfa Tenailles Automobiles GTA garage in Nevers, this car in the colour "Rosso 8C Competizione" (code 202/B) with a red leather interior features several options: leather headlining, brake callipers bearing the inscription Alfa Romeo, the Quadrifoglio painted on the front wings, Racing wheel rims, carbon hose, Bose audio system, iPod dock, special Schedoni luggage (two suitcases behind the seats, a briefcase in the boot), fire extinguisher, 8C charger and a voucher for an "8C experience day", unused. <carousel>            </carousel> This 8C comes with several documents, including a 2008 greetings card from Alfa Romeo as the buyer awaited delivery of the 8C, an invitation to the 2006 Paris Motor Show for the presentation of the 8C, various letters sent when applying to be a buyer, and the order form from 16 March 2007 specifying that the Alfa Romeo logo will be inscribed in red on the brake callipers. The file also includes several invoices documenting work done, in particular four services at Pozzi establishments: in 2009 at 1,780 km, in 2012 at 2,385 km (with oil change), in 2013 at 3,054 (as a follow-up) and in 2013 at 3,372 km (coming to a total of 1,000 euros). Today, this car has a mileage just over 6000km and its condition is near new. We have noted only that the rear boot strut needs replacing. "In my opinion, it's the most iconic and the most accomplished of the modern Alfa Romeos," said our collector. "It's a magnificent car and an immense pleasure on the track." This is no surprise, as Alfa made no compromises when perfecting this exceptional machine. It followed the concept car presented in 2003 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and as soon as it was announced, demand exceeded triple the planned 500 vehicles. The production 8C has Maserati mechanical components, with a 450 bhp 4.7-litre V8 connected to a six-speed sequential transmission, enabling it to exceed 290 km/h. Exceptional in terms of both its mechanical components and its rarity, this Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione also has the advantage of having been supplied to its sole owner in France, in addition to being meticulously maintained and driven very little, with an extraordinarily low mileage and a condition that approaches that of a brand-new car.
