Finished in brilliant Viper Red with White Le Mans stripes and pinstriping, it has been driven a mere 6,000 believed-correct miles, a fact reflected in its outstanding original condition. A classic early model with removable side curtains and soft top, it is one of 2,394 built for the American market, almost all of which were similarly finished with this example’s Grey and Black leather interior with snug seating and White-face gauges. The heart of the Viper is its ground-pounding 8.0L V-10 engine, an imposing powerplant that generates 400 HP at 4,600 RPM and 465 lb/ft of torque at 3,600 RPM. Working through a Borg Warner T56 6-speed manual and a limited-slip rear axle, it rushes the Viper to 60 MPH in 4.6 seconds and a top speed of over 160 MPH.
