#039 of 354, this low-mileage Phase 2 V6, presents superbly in a great colour. Highly collectible and becoming increasingly sought after for all the right reasons. Once dubbed 'The World’s Smallest Supercar' by. EVO. magazine, the RenaultSport Clio V6 255 remains one of the most distinctive hot-hatches ever built. Renault took a bold step by mid-mounting a 3-litre V6 from the Laguna into the compact Clio chassis, delivering 255bhp to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual gearbox. Launched in 2001 and refined in the 2003 Phase 2 version, the Clio V6 gained improved handling and usability while retaining its wild character.

With widened bodywork and aggressive styling, it stood out visually as much as it did dynamically. Available in 230bhp (Phase 1) and 255bhp (Phase 2) forms, it’s now a cult classic, increasingly sought after by collectors. At its debut, the Phase 2 was the most powerful hot-hatch ever made, a fitting legacy for one of the era’s boldest performance cars. Only 1,309 Phase 2 examples were produced for the global market, with just 354 officially delivered to the UK, this is #039, making this a truly rare machine with genuine collector appeal.

It was first registered in 2003 and became part of our vendor’s Collection in 2014, having been carefully sourced as an original, well preserved car with a comprehensive service record. Maintained by both Renault main dealers and marque specialists, it received a major service in 2021 and has seen very limited mileage since with the odometer currently showing just over 29,200 miles. Prior to our sale, the car will be treated to fresh fluids. Finished in striking Iliad Blue, the interior features grey leather and alcantara upholstery with embroidered seat emblems, body-coloured dashboard and transmission tunnel accents and 18" multi-spoke alloy wheels.
